The Partner K650 Active III is a further development of our gas-powered all-round cutter, the K650 Active, and is among the most active cutters in the world from several perspectives.

Reliable strength and significantly less maintenance
Dust particles are a cutting machine’s worst enemies. These machines work in incredibly tough environments, where large quantities of dust clog filters and reduce engine power. This is where you suffer costs from downtime.
The unique Active Air Filtration system separates 80–90 % of the cutting dust from the intake air before it reaches the air filter. The second filter stage comprises a three-layer, oil-impregnated plastic foam filter, while a pleated paper makes up the final dust obstacle.
The unique system ensures that you retain a high output and reduce repair and maintenance costs.
SmartCarb™ - A powerful breakthrough
Partner has developed SmartCarb™, a carburetor with built-in filter compensation, to keep the air/fuel ratio constant even when the filter is clogged. This means that the engine power is retained and you do not need to adjust the carburettor manually or replace the filter before it is absolutely necessary. By integrating SmartCarb™ in the carburetor, we achieve an extremely robust and reliable design with no protruding vacuum hoses and no other external components that can come loose and cause problems.
SmartCarb™ can be viewed as the fourth stage in the Active Air Filtration system. Together, the systems produce maximum performance, lower maintenance costs and lower fuel consumption.
The most powerful cutter in its weight class
The Partner K650 Active III is a powerful cutting machine with a volume of 71 cm3 and which only weighs 8.9 kg. The low weight and excellent ergonomics with the slim-line engine casing and correctly positioned handles makes the K650 Active III unbeatable in its class.
Dura Starter
The starter mechanism on a cutting machine is extremely exposed to dust and dirt. Partner has developed a completely sealed starter mechanism with a new sealing system which prevents dust from entering the mechanism’s sensitive parts. Dura Starter has also been provided with a stronger starter cord with greatly increased durability.
Decompression valve
The Easy Start decompression valve makes it easy to start the engine. It minimises the power that is required to start the engine and reduces wear and strain on the starter mechanism. The valve is automatically closed at the first ignition.
Reversible cutting arm
The cutting arm can be turned quickly and easily, allowing the user to cut close to wall or the floor.
Automatic clutch bearing lubrication
One special function on Partner’s cutting machines is the automatic clutch bearing lubrication. As the bearing operates in a very dusty, dry and hot environment, it is exposed to heavy punishment. Automatic lubrication reduces the risk of the bearing seizure, and therefore entails increased reliability and reduced maintenance.
Enclosed transmission
The drive belt on all Partner’s petrol-powered cutters is totally enclosed – waterproof and dustproof. Enhanced belt life also means improved reliability and reduced service input.
Fuel filter with increased filtration capacity
The new filter with increased filtration capacity and a longer lifetime prevents cutting dust and other dirt from entering and obstructing the fuel supply.

Working with a Partner machine is more efficient and safer thanks to the ergonomic, balanced design with a sleek machine body, and the vibration isolated handle system with perfect handle spacing. The K950 is easy and comfortable to work with, which increases the productivity of both machine and operator.
Longer service intervals and less wear with Active Air Filtration
Cutting dust is the enemy of all petrol power cutters since it gets sucked into the engine and wears down piston, cylinder and bearings. Active Air Filtration, a combination of three separate filter systems, is one of the many Partner breakthroughs. The first active step separates the cutting dust from the intake air through centrifugal force. Remaining dust gets stuck in a second filter stage, made from a plastic foam filter, saturated with oil and having a large surface area. A third filter stage, made of pleated paper, provides additional reassurance that the intake air is free from dust. With Active Air Filtration, up to 90% of all the cutting dust is separated already in the maintenance free centrifugal stage.
Maintaining raw power longer increases efficiency and reduces service requirements
In order to assure optimum power output, Partner developed a carburetor with built-in filter compensation, SmartCarb™. It maintains a constant air/fuel ratio.
This maintains power output even as the filter becomes clogged. There is no need to adjust the carburetor manually. Together, Active Air Filtration and SmartCarb™ maintain high power output longer, reduce filter costs, lower fuel consumption, and reduce exhaust emissions.
Reduced starting cord resistance yields easy, smooth start
A high-compression engine makes you pull hard on the starter cord.
With the EasyStart decompression valve, this problem is solved easily and effectively. When you want to start, you just press the button that opens the valve. The EasyStart valve reduces the compression in the cylinder during the start, which means less wear on the starter assembly. EasyStart reduces the force necessary to start the engine by 50%.
Sealed starter mechanism reduces wear on starter cord and starter device
The new starter mechanism is practically maintenance free due to a unique, patented design - Dura Starter - which encloses the return spring and pulley bearing. Several different seals prevent the cutting dust from reaching the vital parts of the starter mechanism. We have also installed an additional spring that prevents the pulley from vibrating - something that could draw in dust.
Dust and water proof transmission offers longer service interval with fewer interruptions
The K950 Active has an enclosed drive belt. This protects the transmission in the cutting arm from dust and moisture. Having an enclosed transmission means reduced wear, longer service intervals and fewer service interruptions.
New blade guard
To make cutting easier and more comfortable, Partner has developed a completely new blade guard with rubber bearings. A unique locking system makes it much easier to set the guard to the correct position during cutting.
Reverse cutting arm to allow easy cutting close to wall or ground
With the K950 Active, you can reverse the cutting arm. That makes it possible to cut close to a wall or the ground, limited only by the blade guard. Naturally, the excellent ergonomic properties of the machine are reduced somewhat, but for some jobs, the ability to reverse the arm makes all the difference.
Self-lubricating clutch bearings increase clutch life and keep dust away
The clutch bearing on the K950 Active is automatically lubricated by the engine's lubricating system. This is an old Partner speciality. A hole in the crank shaft feeds oil to the clutch bearing. The pressure that develops in the crankcase, and spreads to the clutch bearing, keeps the bearing free from dust particles - and that increases life.

In the construction industry, in engineering and especially in ship yards, compressed air is often used as the power source. And while an air-powered Partner is a natural choice indoors, it is also a valuable option outdoors in places where the air-change rate is low, such as in pipeline trenches, in deep foundation sites and on marine docks.
The Partn r K30 and K40 are powerful, highly robust and reliable industrial power cutters. Their design is based on the Partner concept for ergonomics, safety and efficiency. Being pneumatic-powered makes the Partner K30 and K40 perfect tools for indoor use, or for outdoor work where there is a supply of compressed air.
The Partner K30 and K40 have the same basic layout as Partner's petrol-driven cutters, i.e. with the motor located behind the blade guard, driving the blade via a belt. This design helps to ensure a long, slim overall tool shape, plus good weight distribution and good balance laterally and between the handles.
One very important factor for the comfort and safety of the operator is the fact that both handgrips are in line with the blade. This means that the weight of the machine is directly in line with the blade, thereby helping prevent any cutting out of true.
The ratio of the belt transmission between motor and blade has been carefully selected to optimise the power output from the motor.
